Cold As Ice
Recently, a friend of mine from college posted an observation of his from a shopping trip to the store on his Facebook page.
As you can see, he’s correct. They don’t stock “winter water” anymore…just Spring Water. However, during our time together as suite-mates in college, our daily levels of snark and sarcasm were difficult to match. So moments later, I responded.
My friend may have seen this and chuckled, but what he didn’t see (which may be much funnier), was that I turned to my wife quickly and said…”Don’t talk to me for a second, I’m onto something!” She knows better than to ask questions đŸ™‚
Here’s what I was thinking:
Is it cheaper to buy the bottled water, or to buy the ice and melt it to drink?
If you want to know…here’s a doc with my solution.Â
But, like I’ve decided to do with my #MakeItReal Moments, I now also leave you with this question:
What are three ways you could use this moment in your classroom to add relevance to a lesson?
