Denis Sheeran is an engaging, fun, highly requested nationwide speaker, who delivers keynotes, full day workshops, and small group professional development courses to teachers and administrators. He is a Google Certified Educator, Chromebook in the Classroom trainer, Smartboard and Smart Notebook trainer, and can customize PD for your school district.
Denis developed a course for his future non-math majors called Senior Math Topics, which covered a range of topics from the mathematics of music and art to modern encryption, machine design, and the history of mathematics. He also enjoys helping educators develop new courses and curricula to fit the needs of diverse student populations. Denis has a master’s degree in educational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education with a minor in music. He is an adjunct professor of statistics at the County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey. Before becoming the supervisor of mathematics for K–12 students in Chatham, New Jersey, Denis taught high school math, from Algebra to Advanced Placement, for thirteen years at Lake Forest High School in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Denis Sheeran is a certified online and hybrid course teacher and has been asked to serve on the statistics development committee by several online course companies. He was most recently published in the fall 2015 Statistics Teacher Network Journal. Denis lives in New Jersey with his wife, four children, and his litterbox trained dog, Scout.
