Permissions
Annotate Meet by Denis Sheeran requires a certain amount of permissions so you can enjoy its full potential. For security reasons we use the narrowest permissions available to still provide you the full functionality. These permissions are:
- tabs – this permission is required because the extension needs to communicate with google meet tabs and open/close new tabs.
- windows – this permission is required because the extension needs to make the active chrome browser window fullscreen when annotating the screen you’re presenting.
- Read and change your data on meet.google.com – this permission is required because the extension needs to capture the screen you are presenting to allow you to annotate it. Any personal or student information obtained when accepting these permissions is protected by industry accepted standards and is not shared (see commerce).
Duration
Data may be kept indefinitely for educational purposes.
How do I opt out?
You can always opt out by uninstalling our software.
Commerce
Your personal identifiable data is never used, bartered or sold for commercial gain.
Advertising
Your personal data is never given to advertisers.
Law Enforcement
Data is given to law enforcement only when legal process is followed.
